Looking back on a 3 Year Animal Rescue Fraud Investigation

The filmakers and Disaster Responders set out for a drive to South Carolina leaving Los Angeles California far behind. The team would meet Hurricane Florence head on, Driving in to the outer bands of the storm.

But the story began a long time ago, when Hurricane Katrina made landfall in New Orleans.

We would leave our nice life’s behind and head into Death and Despair.

For those of us that love the city of New Orleans, it’s people and Animal rescuers all of our lives ,there was no other choice, but to go.

Driving over bridges that were collapsing. You could see the water through metal grates that once remain intact.

The water was still choppy and who knows if we’d even survive if our cars fell through but we kept trudging ahead, knowing this was our last hope.

We had already been turned away from the only other way, we knew to get in and warned over a loud bull horn by coast guard to turn around.

After many hours we made it through, and headed straight for Lamar, Dixon Gonzales where HSUS and LASPCA were stationed.

HSUS President Wayne Pacelle was in charge and LASPCA President Laura Maloney, the two individuals would change the entire scope of Rescue and be the cause of thousands of Families Pets Deaths.

Tens of millions of dollars would be raised by HSUS and LASPCA and they would cause irreparable damage to Louisiana families that had already suffered so much.

Being deployed as lead Disaster responder‘s under the Humane Society of the United States, would change our lives forever in so many ways.

Like we always would say in the field, the best people in the world come out to help after Disasters but the same can be said for the worst kind of people also operate after a disaster, and that is the Humane Society of the United States.

The people that make up the Corrupt, Greedy, Lewd group of people within the organization (HSUS) caused irreparable damage to the people of Louisiana affected by the disaster, Families Pets and the Disaster responder’s that risked their lives to saved them. None of us would ever be the same after.

The Pets that survived, would succumb to starvation others that were rescued were Disposed of in Kill Shelters and Hoarding situations after being Shipped by HSUS and LASPCA Staff.

An approximate 250,000 pets were stranded. Most of the pets died. Even those that were rescued suffered horrific deaths by the hands of HSUS and LASPCA staff.

Some of our Dear Friends and rescuers did not survive either.

The president of animal rescue New Orleans, Charlotte Lilly Bass who rescued thousands of animals died of lung cancer, every day we breathed in death of humans and animals. Other Rescuers committed suicide. Shannon Hartwick Moore took her own life after the law S.B. 607 that she fought so hard for to protect animals were passed. Stories trickled down of other Rescuers that had taken their own lives.

Our Dear Friend and Voice of the Pets that were lost, Senator Fontenot who Sponsored S.B. 607 and saw it passed into law at The Louisiana Senate died some years later in a car crash.

For those of us left standing, we continue to fight for those laws and to Stop the HSUS and the LASPCA and nonprofits like them from harming Animals after Disasters.
